
Dr. Konstantino Cherpelis
DDSDr. Cherpelis, DDS, brings over 35 years of dental expertise to Glen Cove Dentistry, proudly caring for patients in the Glen Cove community. Known for his compassionate approach and clinical precision, he provides comprehensive care for individuals and families, offering everything from general and cosmetic dentistry to dental implants and more.
Raised in Whitestone, New York, Dr. Cherpelis began his academic journey at Queens College, City University of New York, earning his bachelor’s degree in biology. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the State University of New York School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo.
Dedicated to staying at the forefront of his profession, Dr. Cherpelis has pursued extensive continuing education and holds certifications in Invisalign® and oral conscious sedation. He is a Fellow of both the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Cherpelis serves as deputy chief forensic dental consultant for the Office of Chief Medical Examiner – NYC, contributing his expertise to the Special Operations Response Team in the information technology division. Notably, he played a key role as a tour commander in the World Trade Center and Flight 587 recovery operations following the events of September 11, 2001!
